2026 Geoconservation Award in Portugal

This year, the distinction is jointly awarded to:

🔹 Algarvensis UNESCO Global Geopark

Established in 2004, the Geoconservation Award recognizes outstanding initiatives in protecting and promoting geological heritage, encouraging local authorities and organizations to actively engage in geoconservation. ⛰️💎
